The room was recently renovated and neat with a comfortable bed, we were quite satisfied. The location was magnificent and unbeatable, because the train station was based close to the hotel. There was a WONDERFUL restaurant, a market and shops next door.

We had a great time here - it was a lovely stay with efficient and excellent staff members.

I spent a pleasant time here, can recommend to anyone. Everything was perfect, including very amiable staff and wonderful location on the Main river. Location: the hotel was not far from main attractions like the Residenz and the cathedral, restaurants, trams and the tourist attractions and the central train station. Ate at Fuego und Escalera, it's within easy walking distance of the venue...

Had very enjoyable stay during our visit and the weather was warm. The setting of hotel was excellent, within walking distance of mostly everything.

The staff was always efficient, and we loved the layout and amenities of our recently renovated standard king room with air conditioning.

Lovely experience there. Marvellous and incredible location - minutes from a tram station. Good restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Nice sightseeing, good breakfast

The hotel is perfectly located near the train station, the Main river, and the Marktplatz Town Square. It's also close to many fantastic restaurants and the castle that overlooks the city. We loved this hotel and will definitely be returning!

The desk staff where friendly and helpful. The hotel is central and easy to find from train station. The breakfast was the second best I had in 6 hotels on our visit to Germany

Only down side to this hotel was there is no air con

The bathroom is excellent, but the shower space is a bit too small.

I had a very lovely overall experience at Hotel Residence in Würzburg. It’s a stylish place with helpful staff and stunningly beautiful views. the breakfast was great, featuring excellent products. Plus, the location is magnificent, with several bars across the road and spacious rooms.

When we checked in the young lady, who mentioned she lived in Bad Mertengheim, was extremely helpful and friendly.

I asked about the view from the room, but the receptionist really didn't know it. The hotel was very close to the old bridge, but don't expect seeing Marienburg from the room.

We had a lovely overall experience at Hotel Residence. It’s a pleasant place with amiable staff who made us feel welcome. the views are incredibly beautiful, and the location is very central, just minutes from the train station. Our single room had comfortable beds, and the private bathroom was clean and well-maintained.

Old and worn interior of the hotel and rooms makes it a bit shabby. Oh so dated colour scheme also makes it seem cheap even if that isn't reflected in the room price
